My role: Producer
In January 2010, Kerry Foods launched Mr String's World Tour as part of a new campaign for Cheestrings. In TV ads and online banners we got to follow Mr Strings on his weird and wonderful journeys across the world. The game teaches children about geography and encourages them to create the most imaginative vehicles to accompany Mr Strings on his travels.
During the first half of 2010 I worked closely together with a senior producer to launch the project with 2 levels and then went on to produce the subsequent 3 levels and accompanying online advertising as main producer. The final level, Barbados, went live in September 2010.
The game has been a success with user engagement well above industry average. In April 2010, Mr. Strings World Tour was awarded FWA Site of the Day.
